5-11-06 Pretty in Pink! Joe's card from Kaylie!!! It was so cute! Joe loves his baby girls! He got a hand made card from Presley too! A picture of her with him on the front!! I'll have to take pictures of it! We went to Springfield for his birthday and mothers day early!!! 

5-10-06 SURPRISE!!!! Joe was completely surprised!!! YEAH I pulled it off with lots of help!!! Joe turned 52 this year!! on the 11th that is!!! We were leaving on the 11th, so we surprised him on the 10th after services!! He took it well!!!

He walked in and said WHAT I'm NOT 54!!! Fast isn't he!!! Surrounded by friends and family!! John Durling, Glen Herman, Renee Gerteis, Patsy Herman, Chick Durling & Jim Gerteis!! 

5-10-06 Joe with his sweet little assistant, Tristin Rigsby!! She backs up like this when she wants to be held!!! Papa Joe doesn't even notice!!! So ends his 52nd Surprise party!!! His birthday was on the 11th!!! 

4-21-06 It was after 9:30PM when we got home from Joplin, MO for the day and my husband pulls in the back and there are all these cars. I said, did you know about this? He said, well Missy told me not to park back here, but when I saw them parking up front I thought they didn't do anything!!! HEEHEE!!!! Needless to say I was surrounded by family and friends that were as tired as I was, but we still had a great party!!!! The rest of the story is to follow!!! 4-21-06 My favorite sign!! was this sweet card sent to me by Kaylie!!! You all didn't know she is already great with the computer!!! Well her daddy is!! I got a singing e-card from Presley with a baby singing happy birthday! Wish I could display it but can't. Chuck & Holly sent me a cute animated card too!! It was a good birthday in the end. 

4-21-06 Yes! the big 50 hit this year! And I don't feel any differently than I did the day before! Give me a year!!!! Melissa & Veneita and their families love me!!! 

4-21-06 My sister-in-laws worked so hard!!! I'm sure Melissa & Veneita's kids were right in there helping!!! One of the many signs in my front yard!! 

4-21-06 My dear sweet sis-in-laws! Are just soooo special!!! I knew they would not let the big 50 go by without something!!!! 

4-21-06 Melissa & Veneita placed these signs in our front yard! Traffic just came to a stop in front of our house. I thought people were looking at the house for sale across the steet, THEN I saw these hot pink signs!!! Joe went out and took pictures of them for me!!! Crazy girls!!! Well at least they are not BLACK!!! 

4-23-06 My car after Randy my brother-in-law finished with it. At church he came in and whispered that my lights were on and he needed my keys. I gave them to him. Next thing we hear is a car alarm going off. It was our Sunday for singing so Joe got up and went out and said he saw Randy running from our car to his truck trying to find the keys!!!! He said it was so funny, here Randy thought he would pull one on me and he made a scene for himself!!! I still didn't get any idea what he was doing after all they surprised me with a birthday party Fri. night, and posted the SIGNS in my yard all day FRI. So I felt safe!!! NOT!! Joe pulls up to get me and these signs and flags were every where. Everyone was laughing. And I had to drive it to our niece Danielle's 18th birthday on Sun. afternoon at the park. so here it is!!!
