11-27-06 It's Presley's last day at Grandpa & Grandma's! Mom & Dad took her outside to keep her busy till Cousin Kaylie finishes her nap! Being 2 hrs. behind in time, they never napped at the same time! Presley loves outside! Here she watches Duce! What a cutie! No Uncle Randy not Duce, PRESLEY!!!

11-27-06 We wanted to do something with the girls for Christmas, we knew that we would not be with them at that time. But I didn't want them to do the unwraping, I wanted that for their Papa's & Nana's to do with them! So I didn't wrap anything! We could only get clothes for Kaylie and not many of them! With them flying back home! I took a picture of our little tree & their gifts. I even got a few things for our new grandbaby Avery!!!

We get to see the girls here twice a year together! And we treasure every minute! And this year at this point it had been almost 6 months for each of the girls since they had been here!!! So we were really EXCITED for them to be back!!!

11-27-06 When Kaylie woke up mommy brought her back and as soon as she saw Presley with toys, she just started crying so hard. We couldn't get Kaylie her big toys because of the flight home. But we knew that we would be going there in less than a week afterward and would get her big Christmas things & birthday things there! Jenny didn't think that she realized that the toys were not for her. But it just broke our hearts. We just don't want to take a chance of hurting either of the girls, So we will NEVER do that again!! Kaylie wasn't feeling good at all, teething with 4 new ones coming through. This baby girl cut 4 at a time!

It was so cute when 2n Cousin Jackie gave her the pink poodle she was a little apprehensive, but not for long!! That pink poodle with a tail that wags was a hit for both our girls!! Thanks Auntie Vee.

In the 4th picture Uncle Chuck, whom Kaylie loved to have hold her almost every time she saw him, shows her some special things that the Elmo push toy does!! No more tears for this little girl, She had a blast from this point on!!!

11-27-06 We wanted Kaylie to check out the push toy before we got her the same one in Phoenix! As we suspected, she LOVED it!! Notice that she put her pink poodle on the push toy with her like Presley did!!! How cute these girls were! It was more fun than we could have ever thought it would be!! In the 3rd picture Presley helps Kaylie check out the push toy!! Elmo or "Melmo" as the girls say it was a great SUCCESS!!

11-27-06 Presley was the first to wake up after the naps! Daddy brings her back as Grandpa & I have our camera's ready!! She was so excited when she got in front of the tree she just stopped and smiled so big and just stood there, like what do I do now!! She had so much fun checking her toys out! The cothes were clothes!! Now if Grandma had know how much both her girls loved SHOES, there would have been the words "shuze" heard all over the place!!!

In the picture's 3 & 4 Grandma couldn't resist getting in the floor with her girl!! We had so much fun! Grandpa however was getting really sick we just didn't know it. And we would leave in just less than a week to go to Phoenix for Kaylie's 1st birthday!

11-27-06 In the first picture Dad waits to see if his little girl needs any help! Presley had so much fun seeing the new toys. Of course she see's new toys every time she comes to Grandpa & Grandma's so I don't think that she knew that they were her very own to take home.

In the 2nd picture 2nd Cousin Jackie gives Presley a little poodle that wags it's tail! She loved it and thought it was so funny to see the tail wag!!

In the 3rd picture Presley get's to set on her Elmo push toy for the first time! She LOVED it!! And you can see she has her little poodle with her! Auntie Vee couldn't have picked a better toy!

In the 4th picture she has her Lion that Grandpa & Grandma got her! Kaylie brought her's with her and Presley loved it. It's also been a favorite of Kaylie's since she was a few months old!!

What a precious time to watch the girls! Next year will be even more fun!! And we will have triple the action!! Avery will probably be walking if she follows in her big sister's footsteps!!

11-27-06 Presley looks up at daddy in this 4th picture as if to say, "I'll take it from here dad!" And boy did she ever!! We had so much fun watching the girls it was a blast!!

11-26-06 Presley just takes off running almost pushing cousin Kaylie on the Elmo mobile!! Kaylie's mom Jenny and all of us are shocked and tickled at how fast she pushes Kaylie!! Kaylie loved it! Kaylie tried to push Presley later, and didn't make it very far, she is working on walking!! Didn't bother Presley any, she just got off and started playing!! How cute these next group of pictures are of the girls on their Elmo Mobile!!!

11-26-06 Presley started walking before she was 9 months old so she had lots of practice for the last couple of months so she puts that to good use pushing her cousin Kaylie around on the Elmo Mobile at Grandma's!! They were so cute, we could not get over how fast she pushed!! Kaylie loved it and they both smiled and laughed so big!! Aunt Jenny was around to make sure they were both safe!!!

11-26-06 Uncle Gregg with Presley in Grandma's kitchen! Here Uncle Gregg look what my Elmo Mobile can do!! 2nd Picture: Daddy pushing Presley & niece Kaylie!! WOW daddy where are we going and how FAST are we going? Kaylie was beginning to get sicker. She ended up with croup. 3rd pict. Kaylie is ready to get off and into someone's arms! Presley just doesn't want to stop!!! Kaylie signed please each time she saw her Uncle Chuck & Aunt Holly to hold her! It was so sweet that she loved them so much and lots of trust!! They adored their baby niece also! It makes Grandparents hearts feel so incredible to see their grandchildren be so comfortable with their aunts and uncles especially when they only see each other 2 times a year!! 4th pict. is Aunt Holly holding Kaylie, Aunt Holly is expecting Kaylie's little cousin in April!!

11-23-06 Presley must have gotten tired of chewing on the spoon, guess she wanted to see what it would feel like hitting Kaylie in the head. She offer's the spoon to Kaylie, so she can see what it feels like to hit her over the head with it!!! These two girls were so sweet together, they never fought. Just a thump or tug her and there!!! We had so much fun watching them play together!!


 

11-23-06 Presley playing on Thanksgiving day! She was walking & running everywhere! I remember last year we thought that the girls would be crawling around this Thanksgiving! Guess Presley wanted to walk instead of crawl this Thanksgiving!!! What a cutie!!


 

11-23-06 On Thanksgiving Day the girls played so much and so hard! There are several post of the two of them together! They loved Grandma's kitchen!! At times Presley looked like she wanted to pick Kaylie up and help her walk and at other times Kaylie looked at Presley like she was so big, because she was walking!!! They were precious together and just thrilled Grandpa & Grandma to pieces!!!! Kaylie taught Presley to sign Please while they were here. They are both such smart little girls. And to think that next Thanksgiving we will have two girls running around and Avery crawling or walking who knows!!! We are so excited about Memorial Day Weekend coming up when we will Have Avery here for the first time!!

On this her first Thanksgiving, I know two parents that feel so blessed to finally have their little girl!!!!! Along with her Grandparents!!! Uncle's & Aunt's, 1st cousin's, Her Great Aunt's & Uncles & her 2nd cousin's!!!  

11-23-06 It was so busy during the Thanksgiving meal, I only got one picture of each of the girls eating!!! They were really stuffed!! It was both the girls First Thanksgiving!! Everyone was so excited that they shared that with us!!!

11-23-06 Great Uncle Randy took Kaylie outside to play in the leaves before Thanksgiving Dinner! Kaylie loves the leaves and Presley loves the outside too!! Great Uncle Warren took Presley outside! Grandma had to stay in and cook, so Jenny & Holly took lots of pictures for me so I would have them!! It was so neat to see the girls playing!! Cousin Jackie played with Presley a lot!! Mommy got a snapshot of her & Presley!! It is so strange to see Presley running around playing!! She is so tiny, it's so adorable!!! Everyone loved seeing her run!!!


 

 

 

 

 

11-23-06 As Grandpa say's this is what it is all about!!! Kaylie was already in bed when Presley got to our house on Wed. night. So Thanksgiving morning is the first time the girls saw each other. The last time they saw each other Kaylie was 6 months old and Presley was 5 months old!!! Grandpa as you can see in one of the pictures below sneaks a kiss from one of his girls every chance he gets. This is a wonderful time for Joe and I! It just doesn't happen often enough for us! Alone with us Great Aunt Veneita & Melissa & their families love having the girls almost as much as we do!!

11-21-06 Kaylie's 2nd trip outside at Grandpa & Grandma's house! Always first is "Gumpy" the cat!!! Kaylie loves the cat! Then a trip inside the dog run to let "Shadow" out to play with Kaylie!! Then she crawled around the yard! And Grandpa helped her ride 3 of the six horses. First she rode Dolly! Then "Doesn'tSee" the blind horse! & Last Grandpa put her way up high on his horse "Pebbles"!!! It was so sweet to watch Grandpa carry Kaylie around, he bent down really low, reached up high, put her in all kinds of positions and she never once grabbed for him like she was scared. She had a great time and trusted Grandpa to keep her safe!!! There are a lot of pics of them, but they are so cute I just couldn't stop!!!!!!!

11-21-06 Grandpa helps Kaylie ride "Doesn'tSee" the blind colt! She was so sweet with Kaylie and Kaylie loved every minute of her being on "Doesn'tSee's" back!! A couple of times Kaylie laughed!! And she never acted scared. I'm sure that is because her Grandpa had his arms around her all the time!! Grandpa loved this as much as Kaylie did!!!

 

 

 

11-21-06 Grandpa puts Kaylie on Pebbles for the first time!! Pebbles was a good horse and Grandpa was so proud of his girl and his horse!!! He has waited almost a year to do this! He held her tight so that she was safe and she completely trusted Grandpa!!


 

 

11-21-06 Kaylie & her Grandpa did a lot of looking around outside at all the animals. He has waited almost a year to be able to do this with his little girl. He has talked about it so many times! Seeing the two of them together was even better than Grandpa described!!! They are just precious together.


 

 

11-21-06 Kaylie was so tired, she leaned against Grandpa's legs and then just relaxed down to the ground. Even tired she just could not get enough of all the animals outside!!!
 

11-21-06 Kaylie playing with Grandma! We have so much fun, we just don't get our pictures taken together very much! It actually seems strange for me to be in a picture. Guess I spend most of the time taking sweet pictures of Kaylie with everyone else. Grandpa thinks we are sweet together. I love getting down on the floor or the ground and playing with the girls!! I loved playing with my boys this way and now I can treasure their girls the same way!!! I get it all in before I'm physically not able to. Our grand daughters are such a blessing!!
